Aaron Marks
Aaron grew up in Carmel, Indiana. After graduating high school, golf would take him south to play at UNC Greensboro. He graduated in 2005 with a degree in marketing. After graduation, he played on various mini tours and worked at Jupiter Island Club, Misquamicut Club, CC New Cannan, and Farmington CC. The most important thing he learned was that he was just good enough at golf to get your hopes up. The good news, is that he fell in love with being a club pro and ended up meeting his future bride Hollyday. They were married in 2009 and now have two wonderful boys, Landon and Brody. He accepted the Head Professional position at Boonsboro in 2018. He loves being out on the course with the members, helping them improve their games and still competing. One of his recent accomplishments include winning the 2016 Virginia Chapter Professional Championship. You’ll regularly see the entire family around the club throughout the year, as they’ve fallen in love with its charm and the people.

David Phillips, Jr.
David was born and raised in Lebanon, New Jersey where he played his first round of golf at age 12 but found himself more interested in playing baseball over golf. By age 17 he came back to golf and began working at Beaver Brook Country Club in Annandale, New Jersey. David then attended Liberty University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. In March 2011, David accepted a position as an Outside Operations Manager before moving into his current role of Assistant Golf Professional in 2014. This season will be his 9th here at Boonsboro Country Club. David is a US Kids Certified Instructor as well as a Certified Fitter for Taylormade, Titleist, and Mizuno. David has been married for 6 years to his wife Katrina and just welcomed their first son Jameson to the family in January 2019.

Joseph Bailey
Joseph was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he began playing golf at the age of 12. He played many sports growing up but fell in love with the game of golf more and wanted to make it a career. He attended The Professional Golfers Career College and earned a degree in Professional Golf Management. Upon graduation, Joseph played college golf at Keiser University. Joseph started his golf career at Thornblade Club in Greenville, South Carolina and then moved to the Country Club of Asheville in North Carolina. In March 2016, Joseph accepted the Assistant Golf Professional position. He is starting his 4th season at Boonsboro Country Club. Joseph is a certified fitter for the following companies: Certified Callaway Master Fitter: Taylormade, Titleist Fitter, Mizuno Fitter, Ping Fitter. He is also a US Kids Certified Instructor.

Thomas Lawton
Thomas was born and raised in Manchester, England where he began playing golf at the age of 11. His competitive golf career began when he was 16. Shortly after, he was awarded with a scholarship to play golf at Jacksonville State University in Alabama. Thomas played collegiate golf for 4.5 years at JSU where he also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science & Wellness. In his sophomore year Thomas won 2015 Fox Puss Invitational here at Boonsboro Country Club. During his last year of school, Thomas completed a 3 month internship at Mid Pines & Pine Needles. It was throughout this time that he found a passion for the golf business and accepted an Assistant Professional position at Boonsboro Country Club in January of 2018. Thomas is a certified fitter for the following companies; Titleist, Ping, Mizuno and Taylormade.
