Guest Play: It is preferred that guests play with a member present but guests may play unescorted by a member. (See rates and fees)
Resident guest (guest residing within a 50-mile radius of Lynchburg, or within the counties of Bedford, Campbell, Amherst and Appomattox) can play only once per calendar month.  Out of town guest are not limited in this regard.

Rules of Play: All play must begin from the first tee unless permission is given by the golf shop staff.  No one should cut in on hole nine when groups are coming up the eighth hole fairway.
Fivesomes are not permitted at anytime without the express consent of the golf shop staff.

Reciprocal Guest Play: Members from clubs outside the Lynchburg area may play at Boonsboro if prior approval is received from their clubs to reverse all charges back to their home club.  Approval must take the form of a fax or letter from the home club listing the name, account number and address of the club.  This fax must be received 24 hours in advance of the arrival of the guests. This information should be passed on to the clubhouse staff.  These guests will be charged the unescorted guest fee and all other normal fees.  The golf shop staff should make provisions for these guests to charge in the clubhouse.  Members of local clubs cannot charge back to their respective clubs and must play as a guest of a member.
